What this covers
This policy describes how iKon Technology, LLC ("iKon Technology", "we", "us") collects, uses, and protects personal information through this website (goikon.com) and our contact channels. It does not cover the data we manage on behalf of clients under signed services agreements — that's governed separately by each engagement contract.
Information we collect on this website
We collect personal information only when you give it to us. Specifically:
- Contact form submissions. When you submit our contact form, we collect your name, work email, company name, phone number (if provided), employee count, and the message you write. We also log the IP address and country code Cloudflare reports for the request.
- Direct emails or calls. If you email us at info@goikon.com or call us at 480-992-IKON (4566), we keep records of that communication.
What we do with it
We use the information you provide to respond to your inquiry, to evaluate whether we're a fit, and — if we sign you as a client — to deliver our services. We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We do not share it with third parties except as described below in "Service providers".
Cookies and similar technologies
This site does not set cookies for advertising, analytics, or tracking. The only client-side storage in use is:
- localStorage — used to remember your theme preference (light or dark mode) and your motion preference. This data stays in your browser; it never reaches us.
- Essential Cloudflare cookies — Cloudflare may set
__cf_bm,cf_clearance, or similar cookies for bot management and security. These are classified as strictly necessary under GDPR/PECR and don't require consent. - Cloudflare Turnstile — the bot-protection challenge on our contact form is cookieless by design.
We do not use Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, Hotjar, or any third-party tracking or advertising tags. If we add privacy-friendly analytics in the future, this policy will be updated.
Service providers
We use a small number of third-party services to operate this website:
- Cloudflare — content delivery, DDoS protection, bot management, serverless function hosting. Cloudflare processes traffic to goikon.com.
- Resend — email delivery for contact form notifications. When you submit the form, Resend transmits the email to our inbox.
Each of these vendors operates under their own privacy practices and data protection agreements. We've selected them in part because their privacy practices are reasonable.
How long we keep your information
Contact form submissions and related email threads are retained as long as we have an active or potential business relationship, and then for a reasonable period afterward for record-keeping. You can ask us to delete your information at any time by emailing info@goikon.com.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or limit the use of personal information we hold about you. To exercise these rights, email info@goikon.com. We'll respond within a reasonable timeframe.
Security
This site is served over HTTPS with HSTS enforced. The contact form is protected by Turnstile and a honeypot field. We don't store form submissions on the website itself — they're delivered directly to our inbox.
Children
This site is not directed at children under 13. We don't knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we'll delete it.
Changes to this policy
We'll update this policy if our practices change. The "last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision.
